The training organized at Omunshenyi (Ntungamo) cooperative society, provided farmers with hands-on, practical training on concentrate feed formulation. The DDEs and other resource persons invited, educated farmers on skills and knowledge that will help them minimize risk, maximize efficiency and productivity and manage costs. These skills are critical to dairy farming’s success. The farmers asked PDFC to organize more training to improve their farming practices. They also requested that the DDP be extended to their cooperative society as many farmers are interested.
