29 Nov Farmer training program at Rwomutunga

On the 29th of November 2018, a farmers training was held in Rwomutunga. PDFC’s goal is to empower local farmers and see their farming grow into a successful business. Through this training Concentrate feed formulation and major cattle diseases were discussed. The trainers advised farmers to focus on the prevention of animal diseases through periodic vaccination. PDFC is proud of the DDP as farmers have noticed great results.
The farmers also called for more training sessions to help equip them with necessary skills in the feed production.
The farmers also had quick skill sessions that gave them exposure to hands-on learning and advanced market farming techniques.
