The farmers training held at Lake Kitagwenda coop society was organized to train farmers living around the cooperative society. DDEs gave many insights on feed formulation and need to know the difference between substandard feed and quality feeds. Animal diseases being a major challenge that farmers face was tabled. Farmers were trained on most diseases and why hygiene is important in preventing the same. The resource persons engaged the farmers from the community in all the necessary business, technology, and farming skills to be successful in the rapidly changing industry. During the meeting, the farmers requested that the number of lead farmers under DDP be increased.
